Hadrian's Adriana Villa is just outside of Tivoli. On the side of the hill Hadrian was able to catch the breeze during summer. He was a quite a collector of art and had sculptors create copies of Greek classical pieces for this estate in 126 -138ce. This area of the villa was known as the Teatro Maritimo.
