Parc Guell

"Gaudi's 'Güell Parc' "photo" ©2001 photo Elroy Christenson

Antonio Gaudi in about 1900-1914 designed this small housing project on a hill above Barcelona for Count Eustabi Güell. This project was an economic flop.  The artistic remains of the water collecting system which is surrounded by the serpentin wall above and causeways to connect the houses is still here.  The whole site has now been turned into a municipal park.  Entrance the park is free.
