"Eldorado State Park"

Eldorado State Park includes most of the stream and valley. The lower part of the valley had been a destination resort in the early 1900's.  Frequent flash floods have taken out most of the resort except for a small swimming pool.  A number of homes were maintained here for its remoteness and artistic bent.  Unfortunately a major flooding event happened in the September of 2013 which tore out much of the road and may have severely damaged a great number of homes.
