Lake Tawakoni is one of many lakes in Texas created by damming a river.  Mostly they are created
to control flooding but also offer many recreational opportunities.  This lake is known for its bass fishing.
What you see here is only a very small section of much larger lake of some 38,000 acres.  The drowned tree offer
habitat and food for the fish.
