The Desolation Sound is a
large protected body of water about 100 miles north of
Vancouver, B. C. This region is sparsely populated but
is a favorite with salmon fishermen. Nearby is the city
of Lund which sits at the end of Highway 101 on what is
known as the Sunshine Coast.
