The Ringnes farm is one of the largest and most important in Stange parish of Hedmark.  Erik Ringnes, the present owner, represents the local farmers about the rules and regulations in the European Union and Norwegian government.  Under the tree shown here is a stone that marks the grave of Gunhild, the half sister of Saint Olaf, who came here to attend her wedding.

I have a number of families who owned or lived on this farm from as far back as 1508.
